Bergeron Played With Rib, Shoulder and Cartilage Injuries

The truth regarding playoff injuries is never revealed until all is said and done. Following the Bruins Stanley Cup loss on Monday night, Patrice Bergeron’s actual ailments were disclosed.

The Bruins did a fantastic job in hiding what was really plaguing the center-man, as Claude Julien described his condition as a “body-injury” on Sunday.

Bergeron told the media he decided to suite up for game 6 despite suffering from a broken rib, torn rib cartilage, and a separated shoulder.

He also said that his concerns about spleen damage were what forced him to visit the hospital on Saturday in Chicago.

Bergeron truly has the heart of a warrior and should receive the up most credit for his heroic actions in giving it his all.
