Bruins “confident” Bergeron Will Play in Game 6

Bruins pivot man Patrice Bergeron was a non-participant in Monday morning’s team skate.

The burning question on everyones mind as the game six puck drop rapidly approaches is whether or not Bergeron will be able to help his team avoid elimination tonight in game 6 of the Cup Finals.

Bergeron is suffering from what the Bruins are calling a “body-injury.” Though many believe it could be a possible spleen or kidney ailment.

In addressing the media Monday, Claude Julien said that he is “confident” Bergeron will play. He went on to inform everyone that Bergeron would also dress for the pre-game warm up.

Sources close to Bergeron say that he is “optimistic” about playing.

No decision is expected to be announced, as he’ll likely be a game time decision, pending on how his pre-game skate goes.

Bergeron has 9 goals, 6 assists, and 2 game-winning scores this postseason.
