Report: It’s Tebow Time In Foxboro.

The New England Patriots have been involved in frantic reports about Tim Tebow. The reports range from him being hated by the head coach and the man who calls the shots in Foxboro Bill Belichek to reports of him potentially landing in New England based on the former head coach who drafted him in the first round whom is now the Patriots offensive coordinator in Josh McDaniels.

“Just filed to ESPN: The Patriots are signing QB Tim Tebow and expect him to be in minicamp tomorrow”. He added “Bill Belichick has always spoken of Tebow with admiration and move reunites with Josh McDaniels, who drafted Tebow in first round.”

On Monday June 10th 2013, Reports are surfacing that the New England Patriots and Tim Tebow have come to terms on a deal and will report to mini camp as soon as possible. While as of right now no details of the contract are surfacing it seems that the Patriots have confirmed the signing.

The last few months the Patriots head coach has been battling reports between him hating Tebow, hating Tebow the player, as well as the likely scenario of signing the free agent quarterback. Prior to the draft Belichek wined and dined and after months of speculation the Patriots may draft him Bill Belicheks protegé traded up in the first round to select the Florida product ending all speculation that the Patriots may or may not have had the intentions to draft him.

“I wouldn’t get into the probability of us pursuing any free agent.” He also told news “Every single player has strengths and weaknesses but regardless of that, for anyone to have represented that is the way I feel about Tim Tebow is completely untrue, baseless and irresponsible. It is unfortunate that something so inaccurate was reported.”

Last October he also had this to say:

“He’s a good runner, Strong runner, very strong, good thrower, mobile in the pocket, smart player, can do alot of different things. you certainly have to be aware when he’s in there. In the kicking game, he’s dangerous because of his versatility… He carries the ball quite a bit so to some degree he’s a running back.”

Polorizing….We know and we trust in Bill Belichek to get as much as he can out of Tebow. Tom Brady etched in as the starter the next few years will the Patriots utilize him as a running back, tight end, fullback, and possibly a wide receiver with some special teams sprinkled in?

one thing we do know Tim Tebow has received and opportunity from the football gods.
