Alfonso Dennard’s Draft stock plumbited after an assault charge against a Police officer right before the draft last year. Projected to be a potential late first round draft pick or a sure-fire second. he fell all the way down to the New England Patriots in the 7th round. The gamble Paid off as he become a starting outside corner for their last several games of the season.

We finally know Alfonso Dennard’s fate.

Alfonso Dennard was sentenced to 30 days in prison as well as 2 years probation. The only upside to this is that this will not effect the up and coming season for the Patriots. He should be back and ready to go for training camp.
